Jermaine Dupri is set to be honored with a Bill of Rights award next Monday, December 8 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.
The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Southern California will honor Dupri with the 2008 Bill of Rights Award along with fellow honoree Earvin “Magic” Johnson.
Dupri joins an elite list of countless pioneers and trailblazers in entertainment recognized by the ACLU of Southern California within the past 50 years including Barbara Streisand, Dustin Hoffman, Martin Scorsese, Rosa Parks, Antonio “LA” Reid, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Harry Belafonte, Ellen Degeneres, Oliver Stone, Sarah Jessica Parker, and more.
