Jennifer Hudson took the stage dressed in white, looking very pregnant, for her performance of
Michael Jackson’s “Will You Be There” off of his Dangerous album of 1993. Hudson was backed by a choir and dancers, and it had a gospel feel to it.
This is a girl who went through her own personal tragedy less than a year ago when her mother, brother, and nephew were all killed. She just recently came back to the stage, and began performing again. So we can imagine how many feelings came rushing back to her during her performance.
