There's been rumors of a Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson duet for years now but nothing ever came of it. Mariah has finally shot down the rumors insisting it was all in Jermaine's head.
She says, "That was Jermaine's concept... I love J.D., he's like my brother but he makes these things up and he gets an idea and then he tells the world."
It's too bad that the duet was nothing but a rumor because a Mariah/Janet combo would be out of this world, especially if JD produced it.
