Fergie and will.i.am are being sued. A company called Grounded Music claims that the Dutchess’ song “Voodoo Doll” is actually a rip off!
The music group Groundation recorded a song called “Each One Teach One” in 2000, and they believe Fergie stole from it and made it into her 2006 hit song.
The lawsuit, obtained by
TMZ, states that the Fergie track “is substantially and strikingly similar to their song. The suit seeks unspecified damages.
Speaking of Joe Satriani, his attempt to sue Coldplay didn’t pan out too well, and the case was thrown out earlier this week. So the chances of Groundation getting paid probably aren’t good!
