David Bowie Doesn't Remember You

February 25, 2008

Pop legend David Bowie doesn't remember shit because he did so much drugs throughout his career.

Bowie admits that he was heavily addicted to cocaine for most of the 70's and it took a toll on his memory---hmm...you don't say!?

He says, "It left me with emotional damage. My mind is like Swiss cheese. Unbelievable holes in my memory."

Crack is whack kids!

Don't worry David,it's probably not worth remembering those days anyway.Just remember who loves you and who and what you love and that's all that matters! If drugs won't eat one's mind then alzheimers or dementcia would, especially in this day and age. lol. Take care.

It's funny, how the media work. That's indeed fom an Interview, which Bowie gave a few years ago. And in nearly every Newapaper we can find it now. This shows us, how the "free and independent and sooo sophisticated" media work. They write OLD information, they write it without proving it and they write all the same. Not so terrible, when it's just a little Bowie-News, but is there a reason to believe it's different in matters of politics and economy?

Hi David, We got a terrible shock when, in our local paper, we read about your mind being like Swiss cheese and your having unbelievable holes in your memory. We are worried about you. Who are WE? We are a class of students doing social studies. Some of us are going to be social workers. To be honest, we didn't know you before. Because we are between 17 and 23. But last week our English teacher showed us the film "Christiane F., Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo" with David Bowie singing on stage in the SOUND disco in Berlin. First we read about the dangers and the hazardous effects of heroine and cocaine, the symptoms of long-term opiate consumption, withdrawal symptoms and addiction treatments. Then he showed us the film which was followed by a discussion. A few days ago, an 18-year-old girl died as a result of binge drinking. She had been living in this area. So why don't you come over here (fly over to Amsterdam and come here by train) in order to talk to the young people at the local youth centre, telling them about your personal experiences as well as about the hazards of drugs, thus preventing them from suffering irreparable damages or even losing their lives. That would be gorgeous! Because the young would believe you and take your word for it. And they would not turn a deaf ear to your warnings the way they do it to their parents' warnings. Think about it! You're always welcome here! Our class is FOS1-1 and our teacher's name is Ciggy. XOXOX and CU*

Michael Dreyer, it's people like you who will kill freedom of the net. They'll use spammers like you as an excuse. Why not try WORKING to get yourself heard instead of spamming? Maybe you can post in rap sites too? let them know that you can fix bullet holes and bring back the dead.

Bowie has a great memory. He can't recall those days when he was on drugs of course. I don't get this story, it's kind of lame. maybe the only good thing is it might make people think before using. Anyway, Bowie is the most important figure in music and that is all that counts to me.

Hi David, ok, your mind feels like Swiss cheese with holes in your memory. Don't worry, I can teach you independent transcendental meditation (independent from the TM organization, cult, ideology, etc.). This form of meditation is likely to fix your holes where the rain gets in and stops your mind from wandering. I am looking forward to hearing from you Yours Michael www.freie-transzendentale-meditation.info
