Daughtry's sophomore album Leave This Town has just debuted on the Billboard charts at No. 1! The record sold 269,299 copies in its first week of release.

The record is also No. 1 on the Digital Albums Chart and the Rock Chart. Daughtry moves Michael Jackson from the top of the sales charts, where the late singer has dominated for the previous three weeks.

A new Daughtry music video has just hit the web today. The song is called No Surprise, and you may recognize it from when Daughtry appeared on this past season of American Idol.

No Surprise is the first single of Daughtry’s sophomore album Leave This Town.

The album will be released on July 14th. The band promises to bring in "more gritty sounds" in the new effort.
