After six years apart, the band
Creed has decided to give it another shot! They’ve reunited and have just come out with a new album, tentatively called
Full Circle.
Front Scott Stapp says even when the band was broken up, they still felt like they were close. He tells
People, "We never felt like we weren't together. We're not looking at this as a reunion. It's more of a rebirth."
When Creed broke up six years ago, it because the members wanted to explore other creative outlets, and spend more time focusing on their families. But after years apart, Stapp decided to make the push to bring the guys back together. Nothing like a bad economy to bring musicians out of the woodwork!
Looking ahead, Stapp calls their new music “fresh, edgy, raw, passionate, honest, and it rocks.” He tells
People , "We're not trying to stay in a certain place or conform to where we left off.”
Stay tuned for Creed’s summer tour, which is in the beginning stages!
