“American Music Awards” producer Larry Klein announced today that two of today’s hottest musical acts,
Coldplay and
Leona Lewis, will join the outstanding group of artists already confirmed to perform at the live ceremony.

Rihanna, Ne-Yo, New Kids on the Block, Pussycat Dolls, Taylor Swift, P!nk, The Fray and Annie Lennox at 36th Annual AMAs this year.
“We are thrilled to have Coldplay and Leona Lewis, both first-time AMA performers, on our live show this year.” said Dick Clark productions president Orly Adelson,
“Coldplay’s unique rock sound and Lewis’ soaring pop vocals add extraordinary new elements to this year’s superb group of performers.”
The show will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, November 23 (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC. For the second year, winners will be determined by online voting at
