Coldplay fans can breathe a sigh of relief, the band is not splitting up anytime soon.

Coldplay fans fear that Chris Martin may one day want to leave the group for a solo career (let's face it, it happens all the time!), but Martin insists that hell would have to freeze over before he would go solo.

When asked if he would consider releasing a solo album he said, he said: “It would probably mean I’ve been dumped by...
As you know, Coldplay is in the middle of a nasty lawsuit with guitarist Joe Satriani, who claims that their hit song “Viva La Vida” is a rip-off of his 2004 track “If I Could Fly.”

But rather than get angry about the claims, Chris Martin is taking it all in stride. He says the lawsuit has even inspired him to become a better singer!

Chris Martin and the guys filed papers in a Los Angeles court today, responding to Satriani’s copyright infringement claim, saying his song "lacks originality" and therefore was in no position to receive copyright protection. Ouch! Hitting him where it hurts! They...
Coldplay is considering taking a break from the music industry, so their fans don't grow sick of their music. Like that would be possible!

Both Chris Martin and guitarist Johnny Buckland hopes the hiatus will keep their fan base from tiring of them.

Buckland says, "We ended up doing much more touring than we originally planned so there's no time to do proper justice to a new project. And anyway people may need a bit of a break from us.

"We're...
