Claymates To See Clay On Broadway

Attention Claymates! You are going to get a chance to see your man on Broadway as he makes his debut on stage as Sir Robin in Monty Python’s Spamalot for the first time on January 18.

“Clay is amazing, beyond that glorious voice,” director Mike Nichols said.

“Turns out he is an excellent comic actor and a master of character. People are going to be surprised by his wide-ranging talent, since the first impression is of great country charm and a singer to remember. This guy is not only a star; he is a lot more. We’re lucky to get him for Spamalot!”

If you come back here to read Sharie....you should know since you read Clay's book that Clay had MANY male role models in his life including the step father he lived with, an older step brother, and two very dear grandfathers. Clay is fem because that is just who he is. I'm not so sure that his fans love him in the "purest" way...these is A LOT of smutting amongst the Claymates. ewwww.

Greetings: I have been thinking about Clay a lot lately, and considered the different posts and comments I have read. I just feel that Clay is such a complicated personality, as well as being kind of a mystery - but that mystery does not include that he is gay. Altough I do feel like he looks like a "sissy". His book, "Learning To Sing" shows that he was raised only by woman, with no male model. Further more, Clay loves his Mother deeply and he is admittedly still very much a ‘Mama's boy’, as it should be. She kept him very close to her - almost to a fault. For years it was just Clay and Mom. The book relates and helps you understand what a horrible childhood Clay had and what scars have been left on his psyche from all the bullying and rejection, and feeling left out, not included. I think that the fans love him because Clay still seems very vulnerable. I look at him now and wonder how he has come this far. The answer: God has a plan for him - He has given him a magical voice, quick wit and warm personality, and God is showing him the way. That is the reason that fans of all ages and genders fall in love with Clay so easily and almost to a joke. They love him in the purest way - his fans say "We came for the voice, and stayed for the man." We love Clay for all that he is, God's present to us, and to all the children of the world -- Yes, Clay, is our Prince ! Respectfully submitted, Sharie
