The 2008 Video Music Awards were poised to mark the return of
Britney Spears. On the red carpet, it truly felt like it was the BritAwards instead of the VMAS. Anyone and everyone was talking about the return of the pop princess.
The amount of support the stars were pouring for the troubled star was overwhelming. Everyone was pumped to see Britney take on the stage and wow us with a surprise performance. Unfortunately, we saw no snakes, no skintight nude sequence outfits or three-way kisses.
The comeback we were all rooting for turned out to be a collection of moonmen for Britney. Don’t get me wrong, it was great seeing her back in shape, style and form and most importantly, healthy; however, we were left a little disappointed.
