Ashlee Simpson Intimidated By Blake Lewis

Is Ashlee Simpson scared of American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis? Apparently so, because rumor has it that she delaying her new album a bit because she doesn't want to release it the same time as Blake Lewis.

"They're figuring out the release date, but it should be at the end of December. She doesn't want to compete with the crazy Idol fans."

The album was originally supposed to be released on Nov. 27 but has since been changed. "Ashlee hates American Idol, and she thinks the show makes stars out of nobodies, taking credibility away from real musicians," a source close to Ashlee told OK! Magazine.

This is the girl who was caught lip-synching?

I am huge fan of Blake Lewis. How could not like american idol. I mean american idol is my faovorite show. I think fall out boy and Blake Lewis should go on tour together.

um, hello folks - this coming from the "singer" (and I say that tongue in cheek) who never would have gotten anywhere without her family ties. She's a real piece of work.

Oh please. Taking away what from musicians? How about showing ppl that there are OTHER musicians that need recognizing? She's still naive in most things and needs time to grow up. And greedy for the spotlight. Personally I think the whole lip-sycing or whatever was a piblicity stunt that backfired.
