American Idol Winner David Cook is working hard on releasing his first solo album after his big win. American Idol might be over but the tour is just about to begin. The top 10 finalists of the previous seasons competition of American Idol are gearing up for The American Idols Live! Tour.

Idol runner-up David Archuleta isn't letting a second place finish get him down. He's officially a signed artist! He has signed a deal with 19 Entertainment/Jive Records. So we can expect him to pump out an album in no time! The only downside is that the deal was made with the same label all the Idol winners and some Idol rejects get signed to.

David Cook is loving life right now. He's this year's American Idol, and is also ruling the charts on iTunes. He's killing it with his new single Dream Big, which he performed on the Idol finale. Jordin Sparks has just handed over her "American Idol" crown to new winner David Cook. And she has some good advice for him: get some sleep!

Kristy Lee Cook may think she's a little more famous than she really is. Will someone tell her that her fifteen minutes are up?

Kristy apparently called her local nail salon in Grants Pass, Oregon yesterday for an appointment, and requested to be ushered in through the back door to avoid getting hassled for autographs. The only thing missing were the actual fans. Soooo diva.

Brooke White is definitely going home this week. It is unacceptable for a performer to start over in the middle of a song, which is what Brooke did last night during her song You Must Love Me from Evita.

It seems like she's trying the subliminal message thing that got Kristy Lee Cook so far in the competition.  It serves Brooke right for trying to channel Madonna.
