When you’re a new artist on the scene, it’s all about the pre-sales! And
Adam Lambert is learning first-hand what it’s like to have people buy your album before it’s even out!
Adam’s first album won’t be released until November 24th, but it’s already climbed to the No. 2 spot on Amazon.com, right behind Barbra Streisand's much-publicized new jazz album. And we’d imagine Adam is quite pleased with his proximity to Babs.
This is even more impressive since Lambert’s label RCA didn’t make any sort of formal announcement that the album could be pre-ordered, so, says
The New York Post, the news traveled mostly via word of mouth.
We expect great things already from Adam’s debut record, since he got to work with some of the leading producers in the industry, like RedOne, One Republic's Ryan Tedder, and Grammy-nominated music producer and songwriter Max Martin.
