Wizard Of Oz Looking For Dorothy

Music & Movies

The Wizard of Oz is coming back to the big screen but not before a make over. In the remake of the Wizard of the Oz, Dorothy will be much sexier and her dog Toto will be a warthdog.

Media entrepreneur Todd McFarlane told Variety that Dorothy will be “much closer to the Ripley from Alien than a helpless singing girl.”

Now we know Dorothy has to be sexy, but who will actually play Dorothy? That is exactly what they are on the search for right now! Any recommendations? Perhaps Hilary Duff? Lindsay Lohan? Jessica Biel? Alba?

Dorthy is going to be like Ripley from aliens? They're really going to fuck this film up. I won't see it, stupid greedy hollywood.

Dear God...NO!!!!! The movie is perfect enough with Judy...no more of these stupid Hollyeird remakes! Dorothy is supposed to be a young girl...not a sexpot!

Wizard of Oz fan, I couldn't agree more. I'm affraid that they're going to prostitute the legacy of the Wizard of Oz. I mean, it would be neat to see how the story would play out in a more hip and modern scene, but that doesn't mean you can't still have the same magic of the original or that you have to sex it up. Hollywood is all about remakes and putting out sequel after sequel nowadays. Is there any originality left?

I think Hilary Duff plus I just saw her last night at her concert and she is so pretty Belive me

i think they are going to try and redo it and portray the political part of it more. Hilary duff and lindsay lohan would be horrible for this role, neither of them are good role models for the young.

Jessica Alba would be a good Dorthy. But, most importantly, WILL FERRELL will be PERFECT for the Lion. If anyone is reading this who has connections with this movie. WILL FERRELL a the LION!
