It was a big night last night in NYC as A-listers Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg took the red carpet for the world premiere for Martin Scorsese’s latest flick The Departed.

The Departed is a story that takes place in Boston, where the state police force is waging war on organized crime. We hear this film has action, suspense and a threesome with Jack Nicholson and two other ladies. Critics are raving about this film and we hope Marty can take home an Oscar this year.

After the film premiere the all star cast headed over to Guastavino’s where the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger and Ron Wood could be found. The veteran rockers contributed their classic "Gimme Shelter" to the soundtrack. Also in attendance was Kevin Connelly sans Nicky Hilton, Billy Joel and Lauren Bacall.
The Departed hits theatres on October 6, in the meantime check out the trailer and movie pics.
