You might be saying good-bye to Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man since he is considering hanging up his suit for good after SM3, which comes out next year. The new dad is eager to spend more time with his daughter Ruby. He also thinks that it’s just the right time to retire from the hit franchise.
He says, "This might be a good place to stop - I am not tied contractually to any more Spider-Man movies. I am not completely closed to the idea of another one if it made sense but I would say the odds were in favor of this being the last one."
Last month Maguire's Spider Man co-star Kirsten Dunst implied that she is also ready to retire from the franchise. She said, "I'm not the type of actress who does movie after movie."
