Gerard Butler And His 300 Men

March 16, 2007

Everyone is talking about Hollywood's newest eye candy Gerard Butler. The star, who takes the leading role in the Box office hit 300, made an appearance last night at the London premiere.

On the red carpet, the Scottish actor came face to face with a legion of fighting fit Spartan soldiers. The 37-year-old actor, underwent an intensive six-week 'boot camp' in preparation for the physically demanding role of King Leonidas.

Gerard wasn't the only one turning heads, his leading lady in the flick, Lena Headey made an appearance in a gorgeous Grecian-style gown. If you haven't seen the flick we hear it’s a must see! Check out the trailer above.

Oh, I just heard that Mr. Butler is slated to play Snake Plimpton in a remake of "Escape from New York". Oh, no!!! I really like this guy, but remake a cult classic like "Escape from New York? Kurt Russell will always be the ONLY Snake Plimpton.

Is he married or can us gals (and some guys, I'm sure) lust after him free of any guilt? I'm trying to remember him in Reign of Fire becuase I like that movie. Was he Christian Bale's 2nd in command? The one who dies to save the children?

Its about flippin time that this gorgeous, sexy, down to earth Scottish hunk gets his due. Finally an actor who can be compared to the great giants of the bygone silver screen. What we have is here is Cary Grant, Clark Gable, John Wayne, and Tyrone Power all in one package called Gerard James Butler. You go Gerry!!! Your Tarts and Gals love ya!!

Well, it's about time that Gerry finally got noticed! Millions of women, his Tarts (as in Tartans), at the many websites devoted to him, have been wondering, incredulously, why this man's talents weren't putting him on the A List. We've been waiting patiently, over the last five years, for the rest of the world to be "Butlerized" or "get the Gerry juice!" One reason that 300 is such a big hit, may be that those millions of women had been talking up the movie to their boyfriends/sons/husbands/partners for the last 2 years, ever since word was out that Gerry was the lead. Gerry is one of the few remaining manly men on the screen. He has tremendous personality, charisma and screen presence. He's sexy, gorgeous, tall (6'2"), funny as hell (giggles a lot, too), highly intelligent & well-spoken (trained to be a lawyer/solicitor), has a heart of gold, and treats his fans with great respect and admiration. Most importantly, he loves his mum dearly. He's the whole package, for women and men alike!

This man has it all. He is so kind to his fans it will be a new thing in Hollywood. He has done 19 movies so far including Timeline, Tomb Raider 2,Dracula 2000, Reign of Fire, TV's Attila, Dear Frankie, Little White Lies, and my favorite Phantom of the Opera plus several more. A very talented actor with character. Hollywood take notice.

he was the phantom in "phantom of the opera" (he can sing on top of all his other talents)and he played Dracula in "dracula 2000". i'm sure he's in a lot of others, but those are the only 2 i've seen him in.

What are some of his prior movies?

Yep. Not only is Gerry a stunner to look at, a naturally sexy man, a great actor, and a man with a devastating voice and burr, he is also very funny, ironic, smart, and generous. In addition, altho he takes his work quite seriously, he doesn't take himself seriously at all. Gerry Butler will be the pivotal man who will "bring back" MEN, real guys, to films. The Hollywood PR system doesn't know what to do with a real guy. Too bad for them. You're going to have a great time seeing more photos of Gerry, and his prior films.

Oh man! I didn't know that man was THAT HANDSOME! And I love that Scottish accent, it is SO sexy. Finally, a REAL man in Hollywood instead of all those pretty, metrosexual twinkies that are plaguing the screens of late. THAT'S A MAN, BABY!!!! Now I MUST go see this movie this weekend.
