Elliott Yamin was the not so lucky American Idol contestant that got booted off the show on May 17, 2006. Naturally, Paula Abdul had taken one too many pain killers, and was seen weeping because the guy got booted off the show. The 27- year old Richmond Virginia resident is optimistic about his future. "I hope it doesn't stop here," he said of his music career. The winner of this American Idol will be crowned on May 24. The race is between Taylor Hicks and Katharine McPhee. It’s On!
