2006 MTV VMA Award

In case you missed the MTV Video Music Awards, have no fear...here's a recap of the winners, and I'm sure they're gonna replay the awards another 74 times before the long weekend is over. Overall the show was sort of like a blast from the past. We dug up a few old school pictures that reminded us of this years celebs and their outfits and or looks. Enjoy

Best New Artist in a Video: Avenged Sevenfold, "Bat Country"
Viewer's Choice: Fall Out Boy, "Dance, Dance"
Best Choreography in a Video: Shakira f/ Wyclef Jean, "Hips Don't Lie"

Overall, I thought Jack Black did a terrible job at hosting, he wasn't even remotely funny...and what was with P.Diddy's silent treatment on the red carpet? The mogul, standing with his arms crossed, only answered questions through a spokesman. Aren't you like 45? Grow up already, he's such a diva sometimes.

Shakira rocked the house with her super sexy belly dancing number with Wyclef Jean. Her abs...my God! I'm going to gym again after watching her perform. What did you guys think of the show? Ups and downs...we wanna know what you thought
