Hollyscoop caught up with "Bad Boys" Director
Michael Bay on the red carpet at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards. Considering the fact that
Will Smith was just a couple feet away, we couldn’t help but ask if Bad Boys 3 would ever see the light of day.
Michael said “I don’t know. We talk about it, but we all make too much money.” Luckily
Will Smith joined our conversation when he heard us pressing for another Bad Boys movie. Will joked, “Bad Boys 3, I got an idea, I so have a great idea…I can't pitch it here.” He added, “Jayden, we just watched the opening of Bad Boys 2 last night and I was telling him that is the best opening, you can’t open a movie better than that opening sequence of Bad Boys 2. “
Finally Will admitted that we “need Bad Boys 3" but said it might not happen since "Michael is too expensive now, he’s way too expensive.” Seems like the only things stopping this project is the cash, but we think if Will and Michael get together, any studio will pay the right price.
