The MIBs are coming back to the big screen! Today it was announced that Sony will be moving forward with
Men in Black 3. Sony first announced their plans to do a third movie back in April, and it’s just now getting underway.
The movie has a start date of next year and everything, but they just have to get confirmation from
Will Smith. Because what would MIB be without him?!
Sony has already lined up director Barry Sonnenfeld and screenwriter Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) for the script. The franchise is one of the most successful comedy franchises of all time. The two movies, which came out in 1997 and 2002, combined to earn nearly $1.1 billion worldwide.
