The Simpons Returning to the Big Screen

Creator Matt Groening has confirmed that Springfield's most popular family is heading back to the big screen!

He says, "It will happen at some point, but I have no idea when. The first one took us four years - mainly because we don't like to work any harder than we usually do."

The first one grossed over $500 million dollars worldwide. Duoh!

Simpons Eligible for an Oscar Nomination

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the 12 films that are eligible to be nominated for an Oscar this coming year and 'The Simpons' have made the cut.

"Persepolis," "Beowulf" and "Alvin and the Chipmunks" "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters," "Bee Movie," "Meet the Robinsons," "Ratatouille," "Shrek the Third," "The Simpsons Movie," "Surf's Up," "Tekkonkinkreet" and "TMNT" are eligible for consideration.
