The NeverEnding Story Remake in the Works

The NeverEnding Story
This is equally as horrendous as The Karate Kid being remade. One of the best 80s classics, The NeverEnding Story is getting a remake!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Brothers is responsible for the revamping, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company Appian Way is also attached to remake the story with a modern spin. Leo, we’re not impressed!

The original movie was adapted from a German novel by Michael Ende. The new remake will reportedly delve a little deeper and take more details from the book that were apparently glossed over in the first film.

We guess this shouldn’t bother us too much. There was after all, a sequel in 1990 that did pretty well, and a third movie that ended up going straight to video. But this time they’re just trying to go back to square one and remake the original.

We can’t imagine a better Falkor than the original. Watch, Jaden Smith is going to scoop this role up too.

Usually it pisses me off to see a "classic' re made-but I think this could use an overhaul-and if Leo is at the helm-it should be great.

Why do they always have to mess with classics?..
