The Proposal Dominates the Box Office

Move over Bradley Cooper, it's Sandra Bullock's turn for the spotlight. The romantic comedy The Proposal dominated the box office this weekend, knocking down The Hangover for the number one spot bringing in $34 million dollars opening weekend.

But have no fear Bradley Cooper fans, his movie is still rocking! The Hangover and Disney Pixar's Up rounded out the top three with $26 and $21 million dollars respectively. Here are the top ten movies from the June 19-21 weekend:

The box office numbers are in from this weekend, and although you may be suffering from one on this Monday morning, The Hangover failed to drink everyone under the table.

Pixar’s Up managed to squeeze out another box office win this weekend with $44.2 million. The Hangover trailed by just a tad, raking in $43.3 million.

The summer movie season has officially begun and while Star Trek has dominated the box office since it's opening, Christian Bale's new movie Terminator Salvation is expected to bring in record numbers. But Bale still needed some convincing when it came to staring in the movie.

Bale, while promoting his new film Terminator Salvation, spoke to Hollyscoop about the Terminator franchise and what it means to him personally.

Linda Hamilton to be a Part of Terminator Salvation

Linda Hamilton, who played the original Sarah Connor in Terminator, may be returning to the franchise for the latest installment. Terminator Salvation is almost done shooting, but may be adding Hamilton’s voice in post production.

She tells MTV News, “My contribution would be voice-over. “I would probably be very happy to loan my voice depending on what the material is. Wait and see. They’re already writing it. We’ve been negotiating it.”

But what the actual part is for Linda is unclear....
Cast Revealed For New Terminator

Shooting has already begun on the first of three new Terminator movies called Terminator Salvation:The Future Begins, which is being directed by McG. Christian Bale has signed on to play lead character John Conner for the three installments, the first of which will be out in May 2009.  Apparently Christian read the script and loved it, so signed on for all three.

Rap star Common also has a lead role, as well as Sam Worthington, and John Brolin, which is still...
