Robert Downey Jr. is one hot commodity these days. The Iron Man star has signed on to play Sherlock Holmes in the Guy Ritchie directed film.
Downey will play Sherlock Holmes while Will Farrell plays his assistant, Watson. You know that's gonna be good!
Last week there was news that Sacha Baron Cohen would play Sherlock Holmes but it turns out that there are two different movies based on Sherlock Holmes that are going to start production. One is a Columbia Pictures movie, which Cohen will star in and Downey will star in The Warner Bros. project.
Guy Ritchie's film will start production this fall.
