Selena Gomez let the cat out of the bag when she told MTV News that her wildly popular Disney series, "Wizards of Waverly Place" is on track to be turned into a major movie. "Yes! We actually want to shoot it here in New York," she said.
On the show, the kids in the family have secret magical powers and as for the focus of the film, Selena said,
"I think it would have to be that our secret is about to be exposed." When asked about her character on the show and what the next season might bring, she was more than ready to reveal the scoop.
"She gets her first boyfriend. His name is Daniel, and he's just this really sweet guy who, I honestly think, has a lot of potential. I think he's going to do great." If the Hannah Montana movie adaptation is any indicator, this one should be a major success.
