As reported earlier this month, there are two Sherlock Holmes movies in the works.
One will be directed by Guy Ritchie, and the other by Columbia Pictures. And Guy just found himself a Watson!
It will be played by Russell Crowe, so we'll definitely be seeing a new twist on the role. The deal hasn't been made yet, but it's pretty much set in stone. A source tells the Sun, "Russell wants the part, Guy wants Russell. All they've got left to do is dot the i's and cross the t's."
Speaking of new twists on the characters, Guy wants to totally revamp Sherlock Holmes' character, which will be played by Robert Downey Jr. Guy and Robert both will be focusing a lot on the character's martial arts background and he'll be more of a badass than we're used to seeing.
