There have been plenty of
New Moon set pictures that have hit the web lately, sending girls into a frenzy. Some of the pics show
Rob Pattinson without a shirt, displaying some pretty impressive abs.
But don’t get too excited because word on the street is that they’re fake!
Star magazine reports that Rob achieves his ripped look with the help of some very talented makeup artists.
The source blabs, “Rob had a team of makeup artists working on his stomach to make it appear as if he had a six-pack. Rob is definitely not that in shape.” The source adds, “He hates the gym and will never really be a muscle man!”
We’ve definitely heard of that before. Tanning places offer upgraded spray-on abs to customers all the time! But we’re surprised Rob didn’t actually work to get his the real way!
The set source tells
Star, “They used all the tricks — including liquid body paint, shading, and airbrushing — to make his torso look toned. Whenever they stopped filming, Rob would duck back insider to get touched up by the makeup team. The lighting team helped as well, creating the perfect way to accentuate the shading and highlights.”
So tricky! We’re a little shocked, but we highly doubt this will lessen Rob’s fan base. Abs or no abs, he’s still one of the hottest guys in Hollywood right now.
