Rihanna is going to make her acting debut later this year in the upcoming film
Personal Protection, and the songbird is reportedly taking acting lessons hoping to woo critics.
Rihanna is currently in New York City working on her new album, but she's also setting a lot of time aside for professional acting lessons.
A source tells the
NY Daily News, "Rihanna will start filming Personal Protection later this year.
"She's not ready, acting-wise, yet, so she's meeting with a coach."
If you all remember, there were rumors earlier this year that Rihanna was going to star in a remake of
The Bodyguard, but those rumors were quickly shot down by her camp.
