Orlando Bloom Won't Return for Fourth Pirates Movie

Looks like Orlando Bloom’s days of being a pirate are over! He’s reportedly done playing his role of Will Turner in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, after already having starred in three of the films.

A source tells News of the World, “Orlando loved the films but thinks it’s time to bow out because they tied up nicely for his character. The producers are okay with that because they want to concentrate on the new adventures of Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow.”

And Orlando isn’t the only one wrapping things up. Earlier this year, Keira Knightley announced that she will not be returning to the hit franchise to reprise her role as Elizabeth Swann, insisting her “pirating days are over.”

Keira said, "It was a completely fantastic experience, and it was an amazingly large portion of my life, but I don't think I need to go there again. I think that it's done. But I'm very excited to see the next one. And [Johnny Depp] is so wonderful in that character. I think it'll be wonderful."

So now it’s just up to Johnny to carry the next film! Director Jerry Bruckheimer says the 4th installment is being written as of right now, and they have a “whole new way of going” for the film.

Yeah, I was really hoping they didn't keep the series going in any fashion, but if they're changing it around, then I might watch it. Orlando wasn't going to come back anyway since his character is technically dead.

I'm not a big fan of sequel movies...usually they aren't even good after the first one..sometimes rarely is the second one any good...but I do love watching Johnny Depp in that role..he makes a very sexy pirate
