Disney Pixar’s Up dominated the box office this weekend, grossing an estimated $68.2 million. It’s in third place for Pixar releases, behind The Incredibles and Finding Nemo.

Disney distribution president Chuck Viane said today, "I think the sell was easier than that. We sold a great story. We showed a great comedy."

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian continued to bring in big numbers, surpassing the $100,000,00 mark with $105.3 million.

Here are the top ten movies...
Tom Hanks still knows how to bring in those numbers! His latest film Angels and Demons brought in a whopping $48 million dollars at the domestic box office this weekend, and $152 million worldwide!

Star Trek is still going strong, finishing with $43 million in their second week. The movie has gotten mixed reviews, and fell short of matching its predecessor, The Da Vinci Code, which banked $77 million its 2006 opening.

Whow Star Trek absolutely rocked the box office this weekend. The movie brought in $72.5 million dollars opening weekend, bumping X Men Origins: Wolverine down to the number two spot.

X Men still brought in $27 million dollars, while the Romantic flick Ghosts of Girlfriends Past rounded out the top three with $10.4 million.
