Nicholas Cage’s ‘National Treasure’ ruled the box office this past weekend raking $20.2 million over the weekend totaling $171 million.

Coming in at #2 is I Am Legend, which brought in $16.4 million, while Juno came in at three with $16.2 million.

National Treasure Beats Holiday Box Office Records

Disney has a lot to celebrate this holiday weekend as their sequel "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" brought in an estimated $45.5 million from 3,832 theaters.

The original "National Treasure" debuted at $35.1 million over Thanksgiving weekend in 2004. "I Am Legend" lost its spot to No.2 and "Alvin and the Chipmunks" came in at No. 3.
