MTV has just made a very smart purchase. The network has acquired the rights to Michael Jackson's This Is It for the next six years.

The Michael Jackson movie This Is It has its world premiere tonight in Los Angeles. The premiere is expected to draw in hundreds of fans, as well as Michael’s brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Randy.
