Madonna is still loving the spotlight at age 50, but she's not quite ready to see her kids follow in her footsteps. When Lourdes was offered a small role in the movie the Secret Life of Bees, Madge absolutely refused.
A source close to her says, "Madonna didn't work 'til after high school, and she wants it to be the same way for Lourdes. She doesn't want her to enter that harsh world."
Lourdes is definitely feeling the bug though, and has informed her mom that she wants to start acting when she turns 14 in 2010. She'll still be pretty young then. Do you think 14 is a good age to get into acting, or should she wait until she's done with high school?
