Lindsay Lohan can finally stop complaining about how the media has ruined her career, because she just landed a new movie.
Lohan is heading back to the film set after landing the main role in fantasy comedy
The Other Side, which tells the story of a graduate science student on a remote island.
Director David Michaels tells Daily Variety, "Lindsay's very aware of people's perceptions of her. She's really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that."
It's going to be a little difficult to picture Lindsay as a science graduate student, but hey, a job's a job, right?
Now that's landed a movie role, maybe she'll finally clean up her act a little bit and put some effort back into her career. Don't let us down Lindsay!
Filming on the movie, which also stars Woody Harrelson and Alanis Morissette, is slated to begin in October 2009.
