Liam Neeson Takes 1st Movie Role Since Natasha's Death

Liam Neeson has decided to get back to work just a couple of weeks after his wife Natasha Richardson tragically died in a skiing accident.

He’s teaming up with his old friend Ralph Fiennes for the Warner Brothers remake of Clash Of The Titans.

Neeson has been cast as Zeus, the most powerful of Greek gods and the father of heroic Perseus, and Fiennes will play Hades, troublesome ruler of the underworld.

Neeson and Fiennes first co-starred together back in 1993 in Schindler’s List. Also in the Titans cast are Bond girl Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen, and Alexa Davalos. Production is scheduled to begin in the U.K. later this month.

Neeson actually signed on to this movie prior to the death of his wife. It was unsure whether or not he would still stay attached. He’s probably just trying to keep his mind off of the tragedy as best he can. Sometime diving back into work is the best thing. It reminds us of the recent path Jennifer Hudson has taken.

Production on the film is scheduled to begin in the U.K. later this month.
