The
Jonas Brothers are proving that their not too good for Disney like Miley is! They’re set to star in Camp Rock 2, the sequel to their hit movie that came out last year.
Camp Rock 2:The Final Jam will be released in 2010, so we can assume from the title that this will be the trio’s last hurrah before moving on to bigger and better.
Judy Taylor, vice president of casting and talent relations for Disney Channel told the
NY Daily News, "After the tremendous success of the original Camp Rock worldwide, everyone was very enthusiastic and excited to make the sequel. That was great news for all of us."
The original "Camp Rock," which debuted last summer, raked in 10.1 million viewers on the night of its premiere and has since reached over 140.7 million viewers worldwide.
Demi Lovato will reprise her role as Mitchie Torres. The sequel will feature the characters showing up to camp only to discover that some of their students and instructors have set up a rival camp called Camp Star. Chloe Bridges, a classical pianist, will debut in the movie, and hip-hop artist Matthew 'Mdot' Finley will also cameo in the film.
