The Tourist may have another A-lister to add to the cast.
Johnny Depp is now reportedly in talks to star in the movie, which has already nabbed
Angelina Jolie.
According to
Variety, Depp is currently in negotiations to play an American tourist drawn into a web of intrigue by a female Interpol agent (Jolie) who is attempting to locate a criminal who was once her lover.
As you may recall, this movie has already had several changes in its pre-production phase.
Charlize Theron dropped out of the lead role, which made way for Angie taking it. And Avatar star Sam Worthington also quit the project, citing creative differences.
But we have to say, maybe everything happened for a reason. Because now it looks like we’ll have Angelina and Johnny Depp in the starring roles. Could it get better than that? The production is predicting a February start.
