J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling wants to be sure she's the only one making money off her Harry Potter empire.  So she's suing the publisher of a print version of the popular Potter fan website, The Harry Potter Lexicon

What's funny about the lawsuit is that Rowling admits to using the website to fact-check her own work!  But she says making a print version out of it is a copyright infringement.

How a print version is different, we don't know. But if she sues, she should use that money to hire a fact checker on her own books, rather than continue to use the Lexicon.

Hi You make thi sound so bad on jk's behalf. She only wants to make sure that she is the only one to make money from an encyclopedia because she is going to donate the profits to charity. Is that so much to ask? She is being thoughtful unlike lexicon who just want to make money from someone elses work. Also when it comes to the website, giving fans a resource site is a lot different from illegally publishing 17 years of hard work that doesnt belong to them to get some un deserved money. Like i have always said... Any true harry potter or jk fan will wait for the proper encyclopedia to come out so that the money goes to charity. Thank you! Good Luck jk. Behind you all the wayXX
