Janet Returns to Work on Tyler Perry Movie

Janet Jackson has returned to work for the first time since her brother Michael’s death, which happened just over two weeks ago. Prior to his sudden death, Janet had been working on Why Did I Get Married Too? in Atlanta.

Janet Jackson Lands Movie Role

Janet Jackson is still grieving the death of her brother Michael Jackson, but she has something to celebrate--a new movie role.

Janet will appear in the sequel to 2007 film Why Did I Get Married? and reprise her role as author and psychologist Patricia in the new flick entitled Why Did I Get Married Too?

The movie was set to begin shooting in August, but due to Michael's sudden death, there may be a delay in shooting.
