Although the WGA strike has affected award show season, this past weekend the show went on with BAFTA as they had their annual Tea party.
The traditional event has been in effect for the past 14 years and took place this past weekend at the Beverly Hills hotel. The event recognizes the very best filmmaking talent and brought in British stars James McAvoy and his wife AnnMarie Duff.
Others that came out to support the organization included Anna Friel, Allison Janney,Saffron Burrows, Marg Helgenberger, Eddie Izzard and “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick.
