Will Smith’s son Jayden is rumored to be reprising the role that Ralph Macchio made famous. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed it as well. And now we hear Mr. Miyagi will be played by Jackie Chan.
According to The Insider, Chan is in final negotiations to join the cast, and be Jaden’s mentor.
If the remake has to be done, we’re glad
Jackie Chan is at least taking on the role. We couldn’t think of a better person for the role. He definitely brings in the box office numbers. Filming will begin this summer in Beijing. What do you think of Chan as Mr. Miyagi?
