Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig to Co-star on Broadway

Broadway just got a little bit sexier!

Both Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig have just signed on to co-star in the stage production A Steady Rain.

The show is about two Chicago cops whose lifelong friendship is tested by a domestic dispute they come upon in a poor neighborhood. While Hugh is no stranger the stage, this will be Daniel Craig’s Broadway debut.

Jackman won a Tony in 2004 for his role as Peter Allen in The Boy from Oz. That show regularly grossed more than $1 million a week. Jackman became the most sought-after leading man in theater, though he's turned down every offer to star in another show until now.

A theater source says, "Everybody wanted him to do a musical, but he wanted to do a serious play.”

And it may be a while before we see another James Bond movie, because Barbara Broccoli, who oversees the Bond franchise, is producing A Steady Rain.

Sounds like the hottest ticket in town! A Steady Rain will begin in the fall.
