Heath Ledger's Final Movie Trailer Released

The trailer for Heath Ledger’s final movie, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, has just hit the web. The was the last film Heath worked on, and because he died during filming, producers had to scramble to figure out how to fill his role.

They ended up having Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell all play the role as well, each portraying a different side of the character.

Heath Ledger 2009 Oscar Acceptance Speech

Heath Ledger won the supporting-actor Academy Award on Sunday for his role as the Joker in "The Dark Knight," becoming only the second actor to win an Oscar posthumously.

His Oscar was accepted by Ledger's parents and sister. They accepted the Oscar on behalf of Ledger's 3-year-old daughter, Matilda.

Chicago Critics Like WALL-E For Best Picture, Vegas Chooses Frost/Nixon

Wall-E is certainly in contention for Best Picture for this year’s Oscars. The Chicago Film Critics Association has just named the Disney Pixar animated movie their pick for Best Picture of 2008. Not only that, but Chicago picked WALL-E for Best Animated Feature, Original Screenplay, and Score.

This morning the 66th Annual Golden Globe nominees were announced in Los Angeles, and the biggest surprise nomination went to James Franco for his performance as pot dealer Saul Silver in Pineapple Express. Heath Ledger’s legacy is definitely living on, even months after his death. With award season right around the corner, Heath is among the favorites for Best Supporting Actor contention. But in Australia he’s already an award winner.

Russell Crowe To Replace Heath Ledger In Film

Prior to Heath Ledger’s death, he was scheduled to star in Aussie director Phillip Noyce’s movie Dirt Music. But since his death in January, the film has been put on hold to find a new star.
