Chace Crawford reportedly star in the remake, but Hayden wants to as well!
According to E! News, Hayden recently auditioned for director Kenny Ortega, and he was quite impressed with her. As you may know, this remake is being turned into a musical, so Hayden’s audition involved singing.
A source tells E! News, “They were really impressed. No one realized what a good singer she is.”
Hayden isn’t new to the singing game. Her
Heroes cast mates say she always took the stage at cast parties, and you may remember her debut pop single last year, Wake Up Call.
Inside sources say if Hayden makes it to the next round, she’ll have to dance, followed by a table read with Crawford. Chace isn’t officially on board for the role of Ren McCormack, but sources say it’s pretty much a done deal.
