Emma Watson Reveals University Choice

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has finally confirmed where she'll attend university, after months of staying mum on the subject.

British born Watson is planning on taking some time off of work to attend school in the U.S.

She says, "I am (going to university in the Fall) - to Brown, which is an Ivy League establishment in the U.S.A. I've got a place there to read literature."

Harry Potter Star Busted for Growing Pot

Harry Potter actor Jamie Waylett, aka Vincent Crabbe is probably wishing he could just hop on his broomstick and fly to back Hogwarts right about now.

The nineteen-year-old British actor was arrested back on April 2nd after police found eight bags of marijuana and a knife in a car he was riding in. When returning to his house, reports say that 10 marijuana plants were found, worth just under $3000.

Harry Potter Beats Out Dark Knight for Biggest Midnight Screening

Harry Potter has been crowned the new winner of the midnight showing! Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince came out in theaters last night at midnight, and managed to score $22.2 million, according to Warner Brothers.

That beats out The Dark Knight by nearly $4 million! Yesterday the studio had their doubts, saying, "It's hard to really tell where things are going.”

Harry Potter to Become Highest-Grossing Movie Franchise

Not even Lord of the Rings, James Bond, or Star Wars could hold a candle to Harry Potter. The film series is to become the highest-grossing franchise ever.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opens in theaters tomorrow, July 15th at midnight, and is expected to push the series over $5 billion worldwide.

There will be 950 theaters open for midnight showings, and 4300 theaters in the U.S. that will show it during the day today.

Vatican Praises Latest Harry Potter Movie

The Vatican is still fuming at Tom Hanks and the whole cast from Angels & Demons, but they have nothing but praise for the latest Harry Potter movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

The Vatican's newspaper L'Osservatore Romano praised the movie for highlighting the "sacrifice" needed for good to triumph over evil.

"Certainly, Rowling's vision lacks a reference to transcendence, to a providential design in which people live their personal histories and history itself takes shape," the paper said....
