Brad Pitt and his Inglourious Basterds dominated the box office this weekend bringing in over $37 million dollars opening weekend. Coming in at a far second was District 9, that did fairly well at $18.9 million, while G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra rounded out the top three with $12.5 million.

Peter Jackson's alien adventure District 9 dominated the U.S. Box Office, bringing in $37 million dollars in it's first weekend.

The Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams-starring romance film The Time Traveler's Wife came in third with $19.2 million , behind G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, which brought in $22.5 million.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra has blasted the competition at the U.S. box office, bringing in $56.2 million dollars opening weekend. The action blockbuster, which stars Channing Tatum and Sienna Miller, stomped out the competition and commanded the lead over other movies like Julie & Julia and G-Force.

Judd Apatow has done it again! Apatow's latest movie 'Funny People' was so funny, it made its way up to the number one spot in the box office in it's first week. The movie brought in over $23 million dollars opening weekend.

Harry Potter fans just can't get enough of the latest Potter flick because the Half-Blood Prince brought in another $17 million dollars this weekend. Rounding out the top three was the animated movie G-Force, which also brought in $17...
We guess guinea pigs are a force to be reckoned with! Disney’s G-Force has just knocked Harry Potter off his broomstick to win the weekend box office!

G-Force drew in over $32 million in its debut weekend, sending Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince to the No. 2 spot. Potter still managed to bring in $30 million in their second week, but its numbers were 60% less than their opening weekend.

Here are the top ten films for the weekend...
It's the battle of the sexes at the box office as Katherine Heigl takes on Gerard Butler in the romantic comedy The Ugly Truth. Will Katherine and Gerard's on screen chemistry be enough to beat out movies like G-Force or the possessed Orphan?
