Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
Matthew McConaughey teams up with Jennifer Garner in the hilarious romantic comedy, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.

Conner Mead (Matthew McConaughey) is a celebrity photographer with a strict no-strings policy when it comes to love. On the eve of his brothers wedding, Conner is reunited with childhood friend, Jenny (Jennifer Garner) who has always been the one woman with a special place in his heart. However Conner Mead gets a huge wake-up call from the deceased Uncle Wayne (Michael Douglas) with a revealing look into all of his failed relationships. Hollyscoop.com caught up with the stars of the film to get the scoop on this unique romantic comedy.

"It's comedic, but also, in one night ghosts visiting you will change you a hell of a lot better than one night or one year of therapy," McConaughey told Hollyscoop.

Co-star Jennifer Garner explained that the characters vulnerability is what makes this film really work. "Going over scenes and trying to make them more organic and just being together you kind of start to feel an actual real relationship which was necessary for this, because these characters had been the most important people in each others lives."

Both McConaughey and Garner are now in serious relationships, so we had to ask what is was like diving back into a role that truly explored the single life, "It's always fun, the whole point of playing a role is that its not really you, I mean it was fun to go back. Doing a romantic comedy to like fall in love, its great." said Garner.

She also went on to explain that although it's a romantic comedy, men should definitely see this movie with their wives or girlfriends, "No it's more for men to say you have to risk love and commitment, otherwise you're going to end up alone with old age make up and sad." And there is no one else better to play with those emotions like Matthew McConaughey. The film hits Theaters on Friday May 1st.

I liked the article and can't wait to see the movie. Now if I may, I'd like to shamelessly promote my new book, "Beth:Love Along The Way....by B.G.Sanford," and just released by Eloquent Books. It's a beautiful romance, a love affair of a lifetime that comes to Beth, during some of the darkest times of her life. She struggles with what to do, that is morally right. Because of the very substance of this book, it certainly can't be considered "light weight". I hope you get the opportunity to read it the book, it's a story you won't soon forget. All my best, B.G.Sanford www.eloquentbooks.com/ BethLoveAlongTheWay.html
