Sorry to disappoint all you Grand Theft Auto fans, but Eminem is denying reports that he's going to play in the movie adaptation of the popular video game.
Dan Houser, vice president of creative at Rockstar, who makes GTA, tells MTV.com: "Some movie producers were trying to put something together to entice us to make a movie, as studios and production teams frequently have done in the past. This proposal was no more interesting than the numerous others we receive. We never entertained proceeding with the project.
"Rockstar was not involved in this project in any way, shape or form. It is not something we are currently interested in."
Where do these silly rumors start from anyway? There were reports that Eminem had actually signed paperwork to star in the movie. There goes that!
